My Opinion: Amtrak's Most Scenic Train Ride

I'm sure I'll get an argument from some, but I think the California Zephyr is the most scenic train ride offered by Amtrak. I'm going to be taking this train in early May and will provide a detailed travelogue with photos soon after I get home to Maui.

This is Donner Lake in the Sierra Madre Mountains of California ... just one of the great vistas to which passengers on the Zephyr are treated during the two-night journey between Chicago and the Bay Area in California.

Summer's coming. Why not plan a train trip with the whole family?
